Bruckner in the club scene? “It all started with the idea of creating new approaches to Anton Bruckner's classical music,” explains Ilona Roth from Transitheart Productions, a label for art productions in the field of contemporary dance and theater with interfaces to performance art, film and video. Together with the Linz-based collective Holy Hydra, she has devised Bruckner's Beats, presenting pieces by Bruckner with electronic remixes and new arrangements in a club atmosphere. Sound installation, performance, art happening and intervention - Anton Bruckner becomes danceable and tangible.
